Katie completed her first week of kindergarten last Friday & we all celebrated with a BBQ at the new school. Katie played on the playground with Charlotte and with Nicolina. Saturday, we came back & took an official tour of the new facility w/Ginger, getting some of the insights into the architectural decisions that were made.
Sunday, we did the Puyallup. This was our third year in a row. Girls got their faces painted. Katie did the Big Yellow Slide. Had lunch with PJ/Bryce/Austin. Saw the US Cavalry (loud guns). Went to the petting barn, etc. Started to rain a bit late in the day, but we had a fun time.

UCDS Convocation
Convocation for the start of the School Year at UCDS was today! Katie was very excited to explore the brand new building at North Campus. Met Katie's kindergarten teachers (Rebecca and Megan). Katie's teacher from last year (Jack Forman) cam out dressed as the Cat in the Hat.
Katie was excited to show me the Early Elementary playground and the new jewel garden. Kindergarten for Katie starts tomorrow.
